your staff for a tremendous night. As one of the first organisations to have a
banquet in the recently opened Clock Tower we were a little bit anxious that
the teething problems might not be ironed out. We shouldn't have given it a
thought. The whole evening ran like a Swiss watch. The staff were brilliant -
unobtrusive but attentive. The food was excellent. I never thought that such a
high quality of cuisine could be served to such a volume of people (880 at the
last count) - it was delicious. Even the technology gave an extra dimension to
the event with cameras featuring both compère and audience on the big overhead
screens (it meant that people on the fringes of the room missed nothing). It was
pure theatre. Congratulations. The Clock Tower must be one of the biggest and
most exciting venues in the country. I've no doubt that it will become one of the
‘must book’ venues for a lot of big organisations in the immediate future, and for
that reason we would like to make our booking for next years annual dinner on the..."
