I was so nervous about arranging the wedding, I hadn't the first idea of what to do or where to go. We investigated several hotels but Tullyglass stood out, they made us feel so special. I wanted somewhere where our guests could really relax and enjoy themselves and the hotel and gardens are just perfect, so charming and tranquil they create an ideal background. The new building, the Clock Tower, is just amazing, and so striking, with beautiful wooden church doors, a stunning clock tower imported from France and marvellous facilities inside.

On our first visit, Christopher showed us around and explained what was included in the package. Tullyglass take care of everything, you've nothing left to worry about. We looked at all the menu options and decided the carvery would suit all our guests, and with 300 of them, the excellent value was a big plus. We were able to choose from some lovely wines too. Even though we had booked so far ahead (Tullyglass is very popular!), Christopher held those prices for us. It's part of what makes the atmosphere so special, they really want you to enjoy the day and can't do enough for you.

The day went like a dream. We even decided to have the service there and they provided a lovely room for it. Everything just clicked into place and all we had to do was relax and enjoy ourselves. The photographer (arranged by the hotel) took us to a lovely garden full of trees and special features, like a charming gazebo and church arch, where he took some stunning photographs.

The food was just fantastic, with really generous portions. Traditional topside of beef, roast turkey and baked ham and loads of delicious vegetarian options. There might have been 300 of us but there was plenty of room in the spectacular new building and when the meal was over there was dancing into the early hours to a brilliant band, Christopher had recommended.

What made the difference? To be in the hands of people who care.
